IN SEARCH OF THE LOST CRADLE OF CIVILIZATION
The Empires of Atlantis summarizes over 15 years of research into the origins of civilization and mystery traditions around the world.
Combining the latest scientific evidence with the timeless wisdom of the esoteric Tradition, the book traces a radically different picture of humanity’s remote origins – A global seafaring culture of prehistoric antiquity that colonized the planet and then mysteriously vanished at the end of the last Ice Age.
A QUEST FOR THE ORIGINS OF CIVILIZATION
The origin of Man is unknown. Esoteric Tradition suggests that the first modern humans originated not in Africa, but on a now sunken Mid-Atlantic continent over half a million years ago. Ancient chronologies similarly speak of divine dynasties going back hundreds of thousands of years to a mythical Golden Age, when the gods walked amongst men.
This fundamental chapter in human history was erased when fragments of a giant comet impacted our planet 13,000 years ago, at a time that scientists know as the Younger Dryas, turning the clock of civilization back by thousands of years. In the long dark ages that followed, the survivors, shaken and stirred, would be unified by a single mission that called for no less than the resurrection of a former world - The lost world of the Gods.
Even though their civilization may have vanished, as Plato affirmed, "in a single day and night", its legacy lived on for thousands of years, forming the core of what we call today "Western Civilization".
This website, with the accompanying books and articles, represents but a small attempt to rediscover the lost roots of the modern world and the true origins of civilization through the exploration of the monumental, scientific and spiritual legacy of our forgotten ancestors.
